Typography animations

I made this for my personal use, my username online is Oxy so I wanted to make something with that for youtube. This animation started with another project about animating type. I used the glitch effect and the slight movements that I made for that project and modified most of the keyframes to fit the new word used (Oxy instead of moving) since its shorter. I also changed the color and font of the text as well as some glow effects. the name flickers slightly with the glitches to make the glitching more impactful. I finished with the particles in the background and some music that i found matched the vibe I was going for.

For this animation, I wanted to make something simple. My first thought was to experiment with glows and outlines. I started with a simple outline sweeping glow that I kept in the final version. I decided to add the spotlight effect to make the text appear with the first sweep and then made it flicker in after the sweep is over.
